BRADLEY GAINS AXA PARTNERSHIP
Formula BMW Pacific champion Richard Bradley ties up with AXA Group for the finale at the 57th Macau Grand Prix

Singapore, 17 November 2010 – Sharing the success of recently-crowned 2010 Formula BMW Pacific champion and top rookie Richard Bradley, is AXA Group, one of the world’s leading insurance and asset management groups. Officially signing a race partnership agreement with AXA today, the 19-year-old sole Singaporean representative enters the final race of the season at the 57th Macau Grand Prix with a strong 77-point lead after sealing the championship in Round 13 at Japan.

“AXA has a built a highly successful life insurance business in Asia by partnering with some of the region’s best known and most highly regarded financial institutions,” said Keith Perkins, Regional Chief Operating Officer, AXA Asia Pacific Holdings. “It is with this same spirit and commitment to excellence that we are partnering Richard Bradley as he competes in the upcoming Macau Grand Prix.”

AXA Asia Life, which is part of the AXA Group and AXA Asia Pacific Holdings Limited, started operating in Asia in 1986. Since then, it has grown rapidly and is present today in China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, India, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore and Thailand. AXA Asia Life serves over 2.4 million customers and employs over 4,000 employees and has about 60,000 agents and advisers across Asia.

Commenting on the partnership, Bradley said, “I am very proud to be associated with a company which is as prestigious as AXA. This is definitely very good news and I hope to build a long-time relationship with them as we go on to achieve greater success together.”

2010 Formula 1 World Champion Sebastian Vettel and other F1 drivers like Nico Rosberg and Nico Hulkenberg were former Formula BMW champions in their younger days. After winning his first ever Formula BMW season in his rookie year of racing single-seaters, Bradley is well on his way to reach Formula 1, the pinnacle of motor racing, provided he continues to secure the right commercial and technical partners.
